I am a self-taught poet and have been writing poems for about 40 years. Though I've attended many poetry "classes", none of them were the kind where the instructor gathered completed assignments and gave feedback. They were mostly introductions to different types of poetry, so I basically imitate the styles my favorite poets

Most pieces are dated at the bottom and include notations concerning the inspiration for each .
