Our gear and pack

Up the old station wagon.

Rumbling up the mountain side,

Never looking over the steep

Edge, loving being scared,

Yelling our laughter over the campfire.

Write Around Portland Workshop Summer 2010

The facilitator passed around envelopes filled with single words typed on strips of paper. We were to choose a word and begin or end every line of a poem with one of them.

The words I chose were Journey and Challenge. For some reason I decided to use them to write Acrostic poems.
