Both of You

There is so much encompassed in that word.

You are my reason for living.

Both of you.

You fill my heart with joy and sadness.

Both of you.

You come to my rescue just when I think you have forgotten me.

Both of you.

You remind me that in spite of all of my imperfections I am a good person.

Both of you.

Like the solution to a long, complicated math problem, you make sense of my life.

Both of you.

You allow me to grow where I’m planted, providing encouragement to shake off my fears.

Both of you.

You.

Without you, my life would have been a complete waste.
