Squirrels at patio door

Looking this way and that way,

Noses tapping glass.

 Locked Door

Door to happiness

Locked, with key thrown away.

Depression fills room.

Time Apart

Daughter in Japan

Son many miles across town.

Too much time apart.

Smiling Faces

Cute pansy faces

Peeking up at gardener

Plants smile on HER face.

Singing Lily

Single lily sings.

Sweet, sharp blossoming fragrance

Trumpets its beauty.

Grandchildren

Granddaughter, grandson

Growing fast as time goes by.

Grandma misses much.
