I Am Not A Cog In the Machinery

I am not a cog in the machinery

I am a shaving split off in the grinding

I cause a stoppage when I fall in the gears

I will not just slip by

I must be removed

By strong pliers

Pliers that must jerk and tug

To get me out

Pliers that place me on a shelf

To be admired

For my unbreakableness

I am not a cog in the machinery
