This Instant

I want to be able to free myself this instant

I want to lift the heavy quilt of responsibility

I want to be able to reproach, accuse and confront

All those who want to make my life a futility.

I want to stomp and crush with the heel of my boot

Any and all who tried to get in my way.

I want to pull up stake and think of my pursuits.

I want to be able to do things by my say.

I am tired of the thumb always holding me down

I am weary of denying my own voice

I want to be able to honor myself with this vow:

I will never again allow others make my choice.
